News Letter

The winter proved to be very busy. I got the opportunity to travel the Costa Mesa CA. I spent 7 long hard days in which I achieved the Instructor Trainer rating for SDI, TDI, and ERDI. The adventure added 29 more courses for us to offer our costumers.  The dive season is fast approaching. Soon the ice will be off with divers eagerly wanting to be the first to get wet. We will keep you posted as to when that happens as well. keep on eye on our web site as we have allot of things happening.

TDI  & SDI Courses

On-Line Nitrox
The SDI Computer Nitrox course is a great next step after the Open Water Diver certification and is structured in an easy to understand manner by making use of a Nitrox programmable computer.  Nitrox as a breathing gas has a lot of benefits for both new and experienced.  The course will cover the use of Nitrox mixtures from 22 to 40 percent oxygen.  The benefits of using Nitrox include

Available on-line.

Solo Diver    One day course-June 14, July 6 & Aug. 3
One of SDI’s most popular courses, the solo diver program teaches experienced recreational divers how to safely dive independently of a dive buddy or strengthen your buddy team skills. The course stresses on proper dive planning, personal limitations, accident prevention as well as the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving solo.  You will also learn the additional equipment that is required for solo diving including it's proper usage and assembly. This is the prefect course for underwater photography and underwater video divers.

GUE Fundamentals
Aug 7-10

The GUE Fundamentals course is designed to cultivate the essential techniques required by all sound diving practice, irrespective of level or environment. Functioning as a prerequisite for all other GUE classes, save its recreational diver course (forthcoming), GUE Fundamentals performs a three-fold function within the GUE curriculum: 1) it provides the recreational diver, in whom there is no desire for further diver training, with a context in which to advance his/her basic diving skills, thereby developing more comfort, confidence, and competence in the water; and 2) it provides the diver with aspirations of more advanced diver training with the tools that will contribute to a greater likelihood of success; and 3) it provides non-GUE trained divers with a gateway into GUE training.
